Normally, when your sensors are enabled and you lock someone inside your BMW, it only takes a few movements of a hand to trigger the alarm. Without the alarm option, the lights can be set to blink when you lock the door but their is no audible notification. It probably can do more than I realize but I haven't read up on it that much yet. It can also read error codes for the various modules. but for the price and ease of installation it is worth the 50 bucks or so.

You do need a laptop to install it on and it has limited functions compared to INPA, NCSExpert etc. If you do, maybe we should have a SoCal scanner day and share the equipment to add features.
